The passion
TUbike company is based on the passion of its founders for active tourism, especially for cycling. It is the longstanding experience in organizing tours, at first mostly single trips, later on with a group of friends, that created the chance to realize how vast and yet not discovered are the values of this type of tourism.
Close to nature
Cycling/riding a bike gives you the chance to admire the beauty of fauna and flora of the particular areas of the country. Fields of poppies, thick boggy forests, a fox, a deer or a wildboar passing your way, a stork that teaches the chicks to fly – these are just a few of the attractions that are not to be seen when travelling by coach.
The real nature of the World
Taking part in TUbike tour gives you the real opportunity to get to know the region, its culture and the people. The special and unique characteristic features about the tours we organize are the trips for small groups of people, accommodation and meals provided by the local people, cooperation with best regional tour guides, local craftsmen and artists. It will all make you admire the amazing beauty of the nature, supporting the local communities at the same time.
We take care of every detail
The tours we organize are characterized by taking care of every single detail and providing the tourists with the most comfortable bike trips possible. Each tour is accompanied by the safety van to be used by the group, driven by a person who is an experienced bicycle mechanic as well. The van is equipped with extra bikes, basic repair tools and takes care of the tourists’ luggage. During the journey we also use other means of transport, e.g. a narrow-gauge railway, a cutter, a yacht and even a hot-air balloon. The tourists are also free to try their hands at canoeing or mastering a handcar train.
TUbike tour guides and couriers
Our tours are guided by the best licensed active tour guides. They perfectly know the visited areas, the history of the region, the local attractions and perfectly speak the language of a foreign country when travelling to other countries.
The tours for foreigners in Poland are guided in German, English, Spanish and French as well as Russian and Turkish when previously agreed on.
The support
The company has been set up with a great support from Gdańska Fundacja Przedsiębiorczości (Gdansk Enterprise Foundation) and Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza (Pomerania Development Agency), and the European Union grants obtained through the programme 6.2 Human Capital enabled the company to come into being.
The business plan for the company won the first place in the competition ‘Biznes na Start’, receiving a prize funded by the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk Paweł Adamowicz.
We are engaged in Gdański Inkubator Przedsiębiorczości ‘Starter’ (Gdansk Enterprise Incubator ‘Starter’) and we take part in the following projects: ‘Akademia Gdańskiego Przedsiębiorcy’ (Gdansk Entrepreneur Academy) and ‘Pomorska Akademia Biznesu’ (Pomeranian Business Academy).
